Subprime Securities Litigation Team
Institutional and individual investors are suffering huge investment losses in bonds, mutual funds and structured securities that are backed by subprime loans. Many of those investors have legitimate legal concerns, because the risks of their investments were inconsistent with what they were told or the investments were inconsistent with their institution's investment policy or their personal willingness and ability to put their investments at risk.
Our law firms have joined forces for the purposes of establishing a team, which focuses the resources, skills and experience of its members in representing investors who have sustained investment losses in the subprime crisis. The participants in the team are Reasonover & Olinde, LLC; Smiley, Bishop & Porter, LLP; Levin, Papantonio, Thomas, Mitchell, Echsner & Proctor; and Haskell | Slaughter LLC. Collectively, our team members have more than a century of experience representing investors. Several team members are former securities regulators and many members are recognized for their leadership among attorneys practicing in the field of securities arbitration and litigation.
